Rainbow Ombre Bargello Quilt with Dragonfly Quilting Ombre Omber Machine Quilted Extra Soft Pink Peach Minky Backing 53.5 x 78.5"
This is a Bargello pattern quilt made using Gelato Ombre cotton fabric, bordered with aqua Kona cotton, piped with matching Aqua Kona cotton and piped with a Peach Kona cotton that closely matches the peachy-pink extra soft Minky back. I made the quilt top and had it quilted at Missouri Star Quilt Company in a dragonflies pattern using a pale peach thread. I machine bound it and it measures about 53.5 inches wide by 78.5 inches tall. This was made in the first year I made quilts so the binding isn't quite perfect, see one of the photos where there is a discrepancy in the piping width, but I do reinforce my stitches and there are no gaps/loose areas, this quilt is meant to be used, loved, washed, and used some more. There is a small label (2.5x0.75 inches in matching aqua cotton) with my name and the date made on the one corner of the front using blue permanent fabric marker.
Any questions, please let me know, this is a beautiful and cheerful quilt and the minky back is luxurious!
The picture of it on a bed is on my Queen-sized bed, this quilt is appropriate as a long throw, a cover for a twin, but is not sized to fit a mattress in it's entirety.
Please note I store my quilts for sale in sealed plastic bags but they were made in a home with a Borzoi and no matter how closely I go over them and lint-roller them, I cannot 100% guarantee it would arrive completely free of the occasional hair or fuzzy.
